After surviving incredible suffering, how do we continue forward? During this retreat we contemplate how to offer ourselves mercy following the depths of suffering. We explore themes around grace, vulnerability, grief, and authentic joy. Sometimes our darkest hours remain hidden, and yet those are the very chapters of our life that provide fertile ground for our ever-expanding wisdom.
This weekend welcomes that which is often left in the shadows of our existence, and it provides a space to acknowledge the journeys that transform and heal us. Being a guiding light in our communities comes from the fruits of our own well-tended, honest practices which have the power to awaken the best of the human spirit.
During this retreat, you are invited into compassionate self-inquiry, taught threads of yoga philosophy, and guided in meditation, breathwork, and trauma-informed hatha yoga practices to reclaim your living resilience. Some journaling prompts and small group sharing will be incorporated throughout our sessions together.
Come away with more space to breathe into the difficult places, providing a refuge for your whole self to be welcomed into your life and shared with the world around you as a powerful light that has risen from the flames.
