Dear Family Week friends,
So, whether you have been with us before, or you are new to Family Week and Omega, we welcome everyone.

A summer vacation like no other, Omega Family Week is an opportunity to connect and grow together and apart. Join us for spiritually grounded, playful programs for kids, teens and adults.
Omega Family Week delivers something rare—a unique balance of time together and time apart—so every family member can learn, play, and grow.
While grown-ups are in workshops, kids are in camps, and then everyone comes together for meals, free time and evening entertainment.
We welcome children of all ages—from little ones to teens—as well as families of all configurations: single parents, two parents, grandparents, all kinds of parents and relations. Families can choose to stay on campus, or at other accommodations of their choice.
Adults choose one workshop, which takes place each morning from 9:30 a.m.-noon and on Monday through Wednesday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. On Thursday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. take time off to relax or enjoy Dabblers' Delights—informal classes led by workshop teachers and special guests. In the evening, everyone gathers for family entertainment.
Kids choose one camp, which takes place every morning from 9:00 a.m.-noon and afternoons from 2:30-5:00 p.m. Please note that Omega has a 10:00 p.m. noise curfew and that all children and teens are expected to be with their families after 11:00 p.m.
Gather with other adults to enjoy classes in pickleball, learn the joy of play, breathwork, and more. Led by workshop teachers and special guests.
The core of the Wayfinder program is teaching teens the values of playfulness, creativity, communication, and the ability to say "Yes!" to life. Teens come back year after year for the exciting stories we create and the dynamic community we build.
Here is some helpful information about Family Week that will make it safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone.
We are a community of a variety of ages, including families with small children who go to bed early. Our campus noise curfew is 10:00 p.m. All children should be with their families after 10pm. Teens: You should be with your families after 11:00 p.m. Please leave all public spaces before 11:00 p.m. and head back to your housing very quietly. Please be sensitive and quiet around camping areas at night.
Children must be accompanied to the lake by an adult guardian at all times. For the 2025 season, and most likely for the foreseeable future, there is no swimming allowed in the lake. Canoes and kayaks are available. Children may not take kayaks out on their own. Life jackets must be worn in both canoes and kayaks.
Always accompany your child to the Dining Hall. Help your children on the food line. Encourage them to "take what you can really eat." Teach them how to use our bussing area. Ask them to walk when in the Dining Hall and to take their excess energy outside when finished eating.
After meal time, children love to play together on the basketball court. Please keep an eye on your children and help us keep the play safe. Rules are posted at the court. Please go over these with your children.
The road between the Main Office and the Café is a public road with a dangerous blind curve. Please remind your children to stay off the road. Use the interior paths to walk through campus.
Please, no candles, incense or any kind of open flames on campus.
All the evening programs listed on the schedule are open to kids and adults. Children may not attend evening entertainment without an adult. Please supervise your children during all evening activities: at concerts, movies, basketball court, café, etc.
Look at, stroll through, smell, and enjoy our flowers and vegetable gardens, but please do not pick anything. poison ivy grows abundantly in the woods and at the edges of lawns and fields. Teach your child what it looks like and to stay away from it. Deer ticks have been found on campus. More information on this can be found at Guest Services.
Please be on time for your workshop and kids camps. If your children require that you drop them off and pick them up from their camp, please leave your workshop in due time. If your child is old enough not to be picked up, be sure you go into the dining hall together.
Please use trash receptacles. Do not ever flush disposable diapers.
Bare feet are dangerous around campus due to poison ivy, insects, splinters, etc and are NOT allowed in the Dining Hall and Café.
Kits are kept in the Main Office, Café, and Dining Hall. If you have need of recommendation for local urgent care facilities see Guest Services.
All eating utensils should stay in the Dining Hall. Please do not take food to your room or tents. The raccoon population is always looking for a tasty evening snack.
