Charlotte Rotterdam and Pieter Oosthuizen leading a meditation practice outdoors

Ignite your innate clarity, confidence, and compassion through open awareness meditation and rest in inherent wholeness with ancient Buddhist wisdom.

Pieter Oosthuizen and Charlotte Rotterdam explain the contemplative practice of Skymind teaching and how it can be applied to cultivate presence and awareness in everyday life.

Skymind unites nondual Buddhist wisdom with everyday life in the modern world, inviting participants into a direct experience of our fundamental wholeness, brilliant wakefulness, and innate capacity for compassion.

Rooted in the Tibetan Mahamudra tradition and inspired by the teachings of the 11th-century yogini Machig Labdrön, this 5-day retreat explores the simple yet profound instruction to "rest in the natural state." This intensive is an invitation for both personal and communal healing that addresses the sense of loneliness, despair, and anxiety that plague our modern world.

Who Should Attend? This workshop is appropriate for all levels: beginners, experienced meditators, and anyone drawn to Buddhist wisdom, mindfulness, self-inquiry, and embodied transformation.

What You Experience

You develop a clearer understanding of the nature of your own awareness and confidence in your ability to access compassion for yourself and others. The themes of the retreat are explored through lectures, guided meditations, personal reflection, small- and large-group discussion, and creative as well as experiential exercises. One evening will include a demonstration of traditional Tibetan Buddhist Chöd practice, held outdoors by a fire.
