Roger Jahnke

Roger Jahnke, OMD, is a doctor of Chinese medicine with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He is a respected researcher, one of the nation’s most revered tai chi and qigong teachers, and a spokesperson on mind-body practice and energetics, energy medicine, wellness, and medical cost reduction.

Jahnke is the cofounder of the National Qigong Association and director of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC). He is also the developer of Tai Chi Easy™, an approach to tai chi that is beneficial, fun, and easily accessible. He and his colleagues lead Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader Trainings internationally to accelerate the wellness and energy medicine revolution by empowering others to share this ancient healing modality.

Jahnke has traveled to China nine times to explore energy (qi) at hospitals, temples, and sacred mountain sites. His first book, The Healer Within, an acclaimed introduction to the Chinese mind-body energy practice of qigong, has been embraced by the medical mainstream. His second book, The Healing Promise of Qi, is a best-selling classic at the interface of ancient wisdom and the contemporary holistic revolution.
