Tim Desmond, LMFT, is cofounder of Morning Sun Mindfulness Center and author of Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy and How to Stay Human in a F*cked Up World. Desmond is also a psychotherapist, meditation teacher, and distinguished faculty scholar at Antioch University New England.
Desmond is a longtime student of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. He is an internationally recognized expert in Buddhist psychology who offers training and consultations to therapists around the world. He is also the founder of Peer Collective, a service to provide affordable, accessible emotional support to individuals around the world through online peer counseling.
