Join Lorelei Chang for a transformative weekend where sacred movement and ancient wisdom meet in the practice of Turtle Qigong. This deeply meditative and restorative art is rooted in Daoist longevity traditions and is being taught at Omega Institute for the first time.
This special qigong practice comes directly from the family lineage of Zhang Qilong, a revered master of taijiquan, Bagua, and internal cultivation, who began sharing this treasured method only in his recent years in the US. Turtle Qigong, once kept private and reserved for culture-related reasons, is now being offered to the public through a rare and heartfelt transmission.
With deep gratitude and honor, Lorelei brings this practice forward under the blessing of her teacher, offering participants an intimate opportunity to connect with a tradition that nourishes essence, stillness, and spirit.
Through a set of gentle, spiraling movements, subtle breathwork, and profound internal alchemical methods, this practice mirrors the turtle—a symbol of longevity, wisdom, and the water element. You learn to:
- Cultivate the art of hidden breath and internal quietude
- Strengthen the kidney and water system, the root of vitality in Chinese medicine
- Embody the protective stillness of Xuanwu, the deity known as the Black Tortoise
- Restore harmony to the nervous system and awaken your body's innate healing intelligence
- Utilize the "return to zero" concept in martial arts and qigong practice
This workshop is open to all seekers—whether new to qigong or seasoned in internal arts—who wish to slow down, go inward, and return to the deep well of their life force.
Come experience an authentic, time-tested path to health, vitality, and spiritual presence.
