Lisa Weinert is a writer, teacher, and speaker who founded The Narrative Healing Program because she is passionate about the power of storytelling to heal and transform lives. Narrative Healing is a program that combines meditation, yoga, and writing to help writers reconnect to their bodies, and feel empowered to launch their work into the world. Her first book, Narrative Healing: Awaken to the Healing Power of Your Story, will be published in 2023.

Lisa has worked with hundreds of award-winning and best-selling authors as an editor, publicist, and literary coach, including Dani Shapiro, Oliver Sacks, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Mary Gaitskill. Her career journey includes 10 years at the Knopf/Doubleday group at Random House, and faculty positions in the writing program at Wesleyan University.

Alongside her publishing career, she has been a committed yoga student and teacher, with specialties in restorative, therapeutic, and trauma-informed yoga. She believes yoga and writing go hand in hand—each unlock the stories we carry.
